About Sure Word Assembly
Sure Word Assembly started on Friday, July 3, 1998, in a tiny room of a notorious brothel on Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos Nigeria. At about 6.00 pm that day, Pastor Dennis Inyang and his wife, Pastor Aity, led the first service of the new church plant. It was a seminar with the Prophetic theme, Reaping the Harvest.
Minded to join the Pastoral Team of a flourishing ministry after their service at Revival Valley Ministries International, Pastor Dennis and his wife were waiting on the Lord for direction when they received a mandate to plant Sure Word Assembly. God gave him N3920 and he used it to rent a hotel room for one month and print a one-colour flyer.
That first service had six worshippers in attendance, including the Pastor, his wife and three sympathizers who immediately served notice that they would not stay. With no public address system or musical equipment, Pastor Aity led the praise and Pastor Dennis blessed the congregation with God’s Sure Word.
From that humble beginning, Sure Word Assembly has grown into an impactful ministry with multiple worship centres. The church has strong discipleship and leadership development program which has equipped its members to impact the world.
After twenty years of fruitful ministry, Sure Word Assembly is still Reaping and Preserving the Harvest.
Sure Word Assembly is a teaching ministry. Our services also feature intensive Prayers, exuberant Praise and Worship, refreshing Testimonies and lots of celebration. There are many testimonies of salvation, healing and deliverance in our services.
